We were thrilled when Nick and Wendy Guehne of Guehne-Made contacted us for a photo-spread featuring their gorgeous home remodel in the special color issue of Kansas City Home and Garden Magazine (KCH&G). While our typical photo commissions consist of photographing people we were totally up for the job. Yes it’s true, we may have been hanging out of windows trying to get just the right angles (picture that, ha!), it honestly didn’t feel like work at all. We had such a good time with Wendy and Nick. They were so hospitable giving us yummy treats and refreshing glasses of wine. Can’t every photo shoot be like that?

Okay so enough about that – let’s talk about their home. It’s ah-mazing folks. To say these two are a talented duo is such an understatement. Guehne-Made designs have a very distinct and discerning style that is all about being unique. You can’t help but walk into their pre-1900s farmhouse and feel taken in by every little detail. The ceiling alone we could just lay and stare at it. The incredible wood work and elements of design are like art that is all beautifully pulled together in such perfect balance. Please pop on over to the Guehne-Made blog to get a photo tour of the home from our afternoon with Wendy and Nick. To see the online issues of KCH&G visit here.

Well, Wendy and Nick… we’re ever so happy we could be a small part of making that dream come true!
