Fall colors are at their prime…reds, golds, oranges. There is just enough coolness in the air to feel crisp and refreshing. Today it was just plain perfect outside and I just couldn’t waste it. I decided to get my camera out and go for a drive. I had no destination, no plan, except to take the back roads to wherever. I took in the warm golden sun, shining over the country fields as I drove the curvy back roads. Boy did I drive far. Really far. Way out of my way. There is something so therapeutic about just getting in your car and driving the country roads here in the mid-west. They are serene and peaceful.
Along my drive I came across the Louisburg Cider Mill. Apparently, today was their big cider fest. So Darla (see below) and I had to check it out. Wahooo! There were a ton of people there today. I grabbed a few shots of the fall festivities and got on my way, since I wasn’t looking for a crowd.
I wanted to share a few my shots from my nice afternoon and how I rejuvenated by enjoying the fab-Fall weather. I highly recommend it ;).
